Where Youll Make a Difference

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers within the fuel ethanol and carbohydrate processing industries.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of IFF technologies including enzymes yeast and fermentation additives.
  • Identify develop and advance new business opportunities to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans including preparation and negotiation of commercial proposals aligned with marketing strategies.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer operations including ethanol or comparable manufacturing processes to uncover optimization and value-creation opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical service supply chain marketing and research) to deliver high-quality customer-focused solutions.
  • Proactively address customer challenges resolve issues and identify unmet needs to strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Effectively utilize internal sales forecasting and technical tools (e.g. Salesforce forecasting systems internal calculators Microsoft Office).

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelors degree (minimum) in Engineering Chemistry Biology or a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience within the ethanol grain processing agricultural food or chemical industries.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role such as sales account management or technical service.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer operations and commercial drivers.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels including senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical and commercial concepts.
  • Self-motivated results-oriented professional with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%; this is a home-office-based role supporting customers primarily in the Midwest region.
