The Turn Window Assistant provides prompt friendly and efficient food and beverage service to club members and guests at the golf course turn window. This role supports golfers during play by preparing beverages light food items and responding to member requests while maintaining a clean well-organized service area. A strong focus on hospitality accuracy and speed of service is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Greet members and guests in a courteous professional manner
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards
Assist with making simple cocktails mixed drinks smoothies and other specialty beverages
Prepare made-to-order sandwiches and light food items quickly and accurately
Respond promptly to member requests and preferences during peak golf hours
Operate POS system for member charges and cash transactions
Stock and rotate food beverage and paper supplies; notify management of low inventory
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the turn window prep areas coolers and storage
Follow all food safety sanitation and responsible alcohol service guidelines
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Support special events tournaments and high-volume service periods
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous food and beverage or customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of drink preparation and food handling
- Ability to prepare sandwiches smoothies and simple drinks to order
- Friendly energetic and member-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor-facing environment
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Reliable punctual and flexible with scheduling (including weekends and holidays)
- Food handler and/or alcohol service certification preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (beverage cases ice supplies)
Comfortable working in warm weather and outdoor conditions
Work Environment
Golf course turn window / halfway house setting
High-volume service during peak golf hours and tournaments
Seasonal and weather-dependent conditions
