What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location including greeting and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse yards parking areas loading docks and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues to report.
• Monitor access points gates and delivery areas including observing incoming and outgoing truck traffic and verifying identification and/or visitor authorization per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities incidents and irregularities and use radios and/or phones to communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
