Contract Duration: 23 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Compensation

Travel Rate: Up to $60/hour (Approx. $2160/week)
Local Rate: Up to $50/hour (Approx. $1800/week)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Saratoga Springs NY. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced acute care environments and are open to assignment extensions.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit (patient ratio 1:51:6)
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Qualifications

Active New York RN License
Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR required
Strong clinical communication and critical thinking skills
