Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit (Nursing)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (Nursing) for one of our clients in Utica NY.

Job Description:

• Unit: ICU
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prisma flex
• Heart experience HIGHLY preferred - Manager looking at these as priority!
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Unit Specifics: Beds: 42 beds (East 20 West 22) Neuro/Med: 22 CTICU: 6 Surg/Trauma: 14
• Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes Sepsis AMS Neuro Intervention (TCAR) Resp Failure CHF Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg Cardiogenic Shock AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma Major post-op sx Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy ICP monitoring TTM (Artic Sun)

Submission Requirements:

• WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
• Up to date resume that includes 2 years of experience in ICU SICU CTICU Trauma ICU MS ICU or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
• TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Current AHA ACLS BLS NIHSS NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC

Work hours:

• JUNE 15TH START
• Shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Floating Required: Yes
