The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of B2B/B2G sales e-tendering processes and the ability to convert leads into long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients interested in participating in government tenders.
- Generate leads through cold calling networking and online research.
- Educate clients about government tender opportunities and procurement processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with companies seeking government contracts.
- Develop and deliver customized sales pitches based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support clients in the bidding process.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by increasing client participation in tenders.
- Stay updated on government procurement trends policies and upcoming tenders.
Skills & Qualifications
- 23 years of experience in Sales / Business Development preferably in the tender domain.
- Good understanding of e-tendering platforms such as GeM CPPP and state procurement portals.
- Proven track record of lead generation and client onboarding.
- Strong communication negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience in selling tender consultancy or tender-based solutions preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Self-motivated target-driven and proactive approach.
