Gifted Endorsed Teacher
The ASK Academy (Attitudes Skills and Knowledge) a 6 th -12th grade charter school in Rio Rancho New Mexico is a STEM innovation school with a project-based approach to teaching and learning and has been noted as among the top 3% of high schools in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report. The 650 scholars follow one of two career pathwaysBiomedical Sciences or Engineering and Design.
ASK Academy has entered its second decade and is searching for a gifted endorsed teacher to begin in the Fall of 2026.
Job Details: Write and run gifted IEPs work with general education teachers to ensure students are receiving accommodations and modifications. This candidate would possibly do push-ins in the general education classrooms and/or be a facilitator for students taking online classes.
Requirements include: NMPED 6-12 teaching license gifted endorsement experience in high school education and familiarity with ASKs STEM focus and project-based learning approach.
This position is available for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a benefits eligible position. Staff members at The ASK Academy have preference in the schools student enrollment lottery.
