The Administrative/Operational Support Assistant (OSA) will be assigned administrative duties covering day-to-day center operations for a Government Agency and will assist the Program Director Project Managers and associated staff as needed in the performance of their duties.
Security Clearance: Must possess (or be able to obtain) a federal public trust clearance.
Location: This position is HYBRID and will include a mix of teleworking and in-office work depending on the needs of -office work will be done in the Washington D.C. central business district. The location at any given time will be determined by the assigned tasks at that time. The OSA will be required to work onsite at least 2 to 3 days per week and must live within commuting distance of Washington D.C.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Receive triage scan file track store and maintain incoming correspondence received by mail and fax using Government-approved tracking and case management systems.
- Collect prepare and deliver outbound official Government written correspondence.
- Process and secure incoming fee payments and surety bonds timely and accurately.
- Accurately and efficiently data enter incoming mailed-in applications.
- Print and upload official government correspondence and documentation.
- Electronically prepare documents and information for public posting.
- Follow the Governments operational policies and procedures and ensure timely delivery of all tasks.
- Work in a high-pressure work environment with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Requirements
Required Experience
- Strong computer and internet research skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Excel Access Power point etc.
- Flexibility excellent interpersonal skills project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside clients and vendors.
- Demonstrable problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in an office environment is preferred
Education
- Associates degree or equivalent PLUS two (2) years of related experience
