Senior Project Manager Design, Western Region

The Senior Project Manager leads complex design projects that are larger in scope value and technical complexity than those typically managed by a Project Manager. This role provides overall direction for project planning and execution leads multidisciplinary design teams and serves as a key point of contact for clients. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering high-quality design solutions while building strong long-term client relationships.

Projects may involve multiple disciplines subconsultants and stakeholders and require close coordination across teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of complex design projects from kickoff through completion.
• Manage project scope schedule budget quality and risk for high-visibility projects.
• Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including internal staff and external subconsultants.
• Serve as a primary client contact building strong relationships and ensuring a positive client experience.
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges related to design coordination resourcing and execution.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers and project team members as needed.
• Support collaboration across design engineering and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of seven (7) years of successful project management experience including responsibility for complex projects.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating subconsultants.
• Proven success managing complex design-focused projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of core engineering disciplines and design project execution.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead collaborate and influence effectively.
• Completion of at least 8 hours of leadership or supervisory training annually.
