The Opportunity

We are looking for two Senior QA Engineers (manual automation) to test and validate our highend US Equity Trading platform covering both backend systems (OMS & Market Data) and our desktop frontend application. You will work closely with Developers and Product Owners to ensure reliability performance and correctness in a distributed eventdriven realtime environment.

Role Summary

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies across backend services (OMS Market Data) and the desktop frontend application ensuring every release meets the highest quality bar.
Develop and maintain automated regression suites while performing targeted manual exploratory testing.
Help define and enforce quality standards for a realtime trading platform.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse requirements and user stories to derive clear meaningful test cases and scenarios.
Design execute and document manual functional integration and regression tests across backend services (order lifecycle routing execution flows market data feeds APIs) and the desktop frontend (order entry book fetching layout persistence pop menu routing user workflows).
Develop and maintain automated tests (API integration and UI where applicable) as part of CI/CD pipelines.
Validate the correct handling of order states failures edge cases and exception scenarios.
Test system behavior under load alongside developers and DevOps to identify performance and stability issues.
Create and maintain test data sets including realistic trading and market data scenarios.
Log track and verify defects working closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
Contribute to improving test frameworks tooling and processes for both backend and frontend.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify acceptance criteria and sign off on releases.
Participate in release validation and postrelease checks in test and productionlike environments.

What Youll Bring

3 years of experience in software testing / QA with a mix of manual and automation testing.
Proven experience testing complex backend systems (APIs services messagebased or eventdriven architectures).
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools for API testing integration tests or UI automation.
Solid understanding of software testing types and practices: functional regression integration system and exploratory testing.
Experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) including working from user stories and acceptance criteria.
The ability to read and understand technical specifications logs and API contracts.
Comfortable working closely with Developers.
Sharp attention to detail systematic thinking and a proactive attitude towards quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
