About Us:

DV Trading is part of a global group of financial services firms utilizing their own capital trading strategies and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and across asset classes. Founded 20 years ago and headquartered in Chicago the DV group has grown to approximately 600 people operating throughout North America Europe the UAE and Asia. DV affiliates include two broker dealers a futures commission merchant and a registered investment adviser.

Responsibilities:

Create predictive models utilizing financial data through statistical analysis methods
Create robust solutions to problems presented in the trading environment
Develop research strategies into production software
Formulate and apply mathematical modeling techniques to enhance existing trading strategies and perform innovative new research with the goal of identifying and capturing trading opportunities

Requirements:

A degree in a technical discipline with a focus on statistics machine learning or computer science
Experience working with trading desks
Experience handling large data sets
Expertise in Python
Significant hands-on experience applying algorithms to real-world situations
Strong problem-solving and statistics skills
The ability to proactively take the lead on assignments and deliver practical research results in a timely manner
