The opportunity

The role is part of a Global EY Microsoft 365 support team in a large complex and multinational environment.

This role is for an experienced Senior M365 engineer with expert level knowledge on the M365 Tenant Configuration and Platform management. The individual will be focused on providing engineering initiatives especially on the areas involving PowerShell Microsoft 365 Graph scripting used for licensing provisioning reporting etc. Should have a strong understanding and awareness of various M365 Governance controls and experience on using AvePoint Online Services tools used as a part of the M365 Governance. The main AvePoint Online Services like Cloud Governance EnPower Opus Insights Policies tyGraph etc.

Your key responsibilities

• M365 Cloud Governance control configuration using the AvePoint Online Services tool this includes SharePoint sites M365 Groups (Teams and VivaEngage enabled) Shared Mailbox Guest user Power Platform Environments DLP management Power BI Agents Copilot Studio etc.).
• Microsoft 365 engineering work (mainly focused In M365 identity lifecycle management M365 license assignment service delivery and management incident/problem triage of managed services).
• Working with Product managerother Engineers and operations staff to test implement and transition new services or upgrades to existing core foundational services in the M365 space
• Support for the various existing services such as end user Mailbox provisioning M365 identity integration environment management Azure AD Group Based licensing and M365 Group Lifecycle management
• Provide input and recommendations on areas of service improvement both from a technical point of view but also from a process perspective.
• Responsible for certain technical and non-technical deliverables within assigned projects and areas of responsibility including collaboration with solution architects engineers operational staff project managers and core service owners.
• Reporting and KPI statistics gathering to complement service ownership

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must

• Experience with M365 servicefeature implementations and deployment across multiple sites and geos. (Eg: M365 Copilot Deployment Defining Copilot Studio agent etc)
• Experience on AvePoint Online Services tools like Cloud Governance EnPowerOpus InsightsPolicies etc used as a part of M365 Governance control platform
• Understand attribute management and its synchronization from different systems (Talent Active Directory Azure AD and various other M365 services (M365 Profile cards on Exchange SharePoint Teams etc)
• Experience integrating internal infrastructures and processes with M365 cloud environments including security and RBAC models.
• Strong knowledge on PowerShell MS Graph API scripting skills
• Administering Power Platform services like Power Automate Power BI and Power Apps. Experience in Power BI administration Premium capacity Data connections Gateways Power Platform Environment management
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
