Job Duties:
- Read blueprints drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweight steel and other materials
- Confident in measuring and the use of tape measures levels and angle finding
- Ability to use power tools such as saws drills grinders etc.
- Building pressure treated cedar and composite/PVC decks stairs fences privacy screens pergolas benches gates etc.
- Construct decks fences pergolas and concrete framework
- Enforce policies and procedures for all on site personnel
- Snow removal in the winter
Terms of Employment:
- Full time permanent
- Language of work: English
- Wage: $36.00 annual bonuses
- Benefits package offered: Medical extended benefits after 3 months company will pay 50%. Dental plan after 3 months company will pay 50%.
- Location of work: Various sites around Alberta

Skills /Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3 years experience as a carpenter
- Intermediate First Aid Certificate
- Ground Disturbance II
- CSTS 2020
- Whmis 2015
- Be proficient in English both verbally and written
- Have a valid class 5 drivers license (or class 3 or class 1)
- Have a clean drivers abstract (3 or less demerits)
- Capable of working with minimum supervision
- Motivated hard working punctual
- Physically fit
- Familiar with the maintenance and use of various woodworking tools (table saw mitre saw circular saw drills etc.)
- Gas powered tool maintenance and operation
- Safe truck and trailer loading and operation
