Cardiff 3 days a week in office 2 days at home. This will be more in the office initially while you learn the role.

Fraud / Customer Operations
The Fraud team works to help keep our customers safe. Youll play a vital role in our first line of defence. This role is about developing your investigators gut by working through a variety of alerts and learning to spot the difference between a real customer and a fraudster. You will focus on efficiency accuracy and mastering our internal systems.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Execute daily fraud queues: Investigate high-volume alerts across application and account activity.
  • Learn the ropes: Work closely with senior investigators to understand different fraud typologies (e.g. identity theft APP scams).
  • Maintain SLAs: Prioritize your workload to ensure we respond to potential threats within our operational timeframes.
  • Customer Support: Communicate clearly with customers to verify activity providing a supportive experience for potential victims.
  • Identify Patterns: Spot recurring issues and flag them to the wider team for further review.
  • Growth: Join our on-call rota and use your learning budget to build foundational fraud prevention skills.

  • Tech Savvy: A fast learner who is comfortable navigating multiple internal systems simultaneously.
  • Ambition: Someone eager to learn Excel (and eventually SQL) to understand the data behind the fraud.

Interview Process

  • Stage 1: 30 minute intro and values call with a Talent Partner
  • Stage 2: 60 minute technical assessment with a manager in the Fraud team (in person or virtual)
