HVAC/R Field Supervisor
Location: Columbus OH & Surrounding Area
Day Shift
Are you a seasoned HVAC/R professional ready to take the next step into leadership Join our Mobile Technical Services team as an HVAC/R Field Supervisor and play a key role in driving maintenance excellence across a diverse portfolio of facilities.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical expertise and ability to mentor others will directly impact performance reliability and compliance.
What Youll Do
In this role you will:
Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshoot complex HVAC/R systems including rack refrigeration
Train mentor and onboard technicians to ensure consistent high-quality performance
Conduct weekly on-site quality assurance inspections across assigned facilities
Manage refrigerant inventory and usage to maintain regulatory compliance
Prepare technical evaluations and deficiency reports on mechanical systems
Respond to emergency situations with effective and timely solutions
Support operations management with performance metrics and technical reporting
What You Bring
Required:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in building engineering including supervisory responsibilities
Strong technical expertise in HVAC/R systems particularly rack refrigeration
Valid drivers license with the ability to travel between client sites
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and experience with Corrigo or similar systems
Flexibility to work weekends holidays and extended hours as needed
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor others
Preferred:
EPA certification for refrigerant handling
Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs
Background in commercial building operations
Knowledge of energy efficiency best practices
Experience supporting capital projects and system upgrades
