Job Summary
Director of Risk- Las Cruces NM 88011
Full time permanent onsite role.
Salary - $125000 to $150000/ year
Relocation assistance up to $10k
Must-Haves
- Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license required.
- Five years healthcare experience with at least three years experience in a leadership role.
- Must possess a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Advanced degree (MSN Healthcare Administration and MBA) strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.

- Experience facilitating relationships with providers.
- Ethics & Compliance experience.
Job Description
The Director of Risk plays a key role in coordinating multiple facets of the overall risk management manage risk identification avoidance and mitigation by collaborating all levels of leadership provider front end staff and other stakeholders. They manage the evolving needs of active litigation cases to include investigations interviews depositions gathering of legal hold records and other needs as determined by legal counsel. They are responsible for training leaders providers and various hospital staff on the risk management program and reporting of incidents. Responsible for the overall risk management program of the hospital and affiliated clinics. They also serve as the Compliance and Ethics Officer for the facility.

This is a full-time exempt position.
