Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Expert Full Stack Developer to join the POCVP team responsible for the central management of the global Ordering Pipeline. This mission-critical product handles everything from production slot booking to status management until the final handover to markets.

You will act as a high-level technical authority driving the support maintenance and augmentation of master data systems essential to global production functionality. This role requires an expert capable of steering complex architectural decisions and mentoring cross-functional teams within an Agile/DevOps environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: IT Degree / Diploma.
Experience: 15 years of Java (Spring) development experience and extensive DevOps expertise.

Essential Skills (Verified):

Expert-level Java Spring Boot - Design and development of Microservices
Git GitHub (CI/CD)
Kafka & JMS (MQ)
JDBC ORM and SQL
Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
API Development (Rest)

Advantageous Skills:

Kubernetes and Prometheus
SOAP APIs services
AWS Cloud Practitioner and IAC (Terraform) experience
Maven and Docker
Jira confluence and Agile working model
Angular and NodeJS (Typescript and JavaScript)

Key Responsibilities:

Part of a DevOps team responsible for the development and maintenance of the GROUP Central Ordering applications.
Independently develop solutions of high quality and on time.
Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps) including standby.
Willing and able to be on standby after hours on weekends and on public holidays as per rotation schedules (where relevant).
Actively contribute in all relevant Agile ceremonies.
Meet with end users to understand business requirements.
Contribute to the refinement and sizing of user stories.
Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
Identify risks / impediments and proactively resolve and / or escalate to the relevant parties.
Review and present proposed system solutions to various stakeholders.
Comply with Code Compliance Testing standards Software Security and compliance requirements and best practices.
Prepare system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
Pro-active knowledge sharing and/or training of others from the same or different teams.
Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager
