Job Summary
Our client is a well-established company in the mining industry operating a fleet of vehicles and machinery to support their operations. They are seeking a skilled Toyota Mechanic to maintain and service their in-house fleet.
Salary and Benefits:
- Negotiable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Service maintain and repair a fleet of approximately 30 Toyota vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
- Maintain accurate service records and log repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in all mechanical work.
- Collaborate with other staff to support operational requirements of the mining site.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Toyota vehicles and systems.
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical and electrical issues.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Formal qualification as a mechanic preferably with specialization in Toyota vehicles.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fleets of vehicles.
- Experience in the mining or industrial sector is an advantage.
