Job Summary

Role Description

The Senior Auditor position at Client is the perfect opportunity for professionals seeking exposure to cutting-edge public audits without the demands of a large firm environment. The Senior Auditor ensures the successful completion of assigned audit engagements from start to finish including planning and wrap-up. Seniors supervise a group of staff to efficiently and effectively complete the engagements. This role reports to a Partner or Manager and applies risk and control concepts to audit scenarios while effectively communicating issues to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Strong auditing and accounting skills with experience in public auditing
At least one year of supervisory experience
Attention to detail analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required).
Strong organizational analytical and teamwork abilities.
Preferred: Knowledge of GAAS (3 years).
