Responsibilities
- Support the sales activities for the MICE and group segments to achieve room and banquet revenue targets.
- Generate and develop leads for meetings conventions and group bookings converting opportunities into confirmed business.
- Prepare proposals contracts and handle sales correspondence related to convention and group bookings.
- Conduct site inspections and presentations for potential clients and meeting planners.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients event planners and internal departments to ensure successful event execution.
- Maintain accurate records of client accounts leads and sales activities within the system.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and citywide events to identify business opportunities.
- Attend pre-conference and post-conference meetings to ensure seamless coordination of group events.
- Prepare sales reports forecasts and administrative documentation as required by the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure high service standards and successful delivery of events.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales events or hospitality operations preferably within the hotel industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hotel systems such as Opera or Delphi is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
