As a Security Officer - Dispatch Console in Sterling VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location you will monitor alarm activity and access control systems coordinate responses to security-related incidents and maintain clear radio and phone communications with on-site teams. You will document events support routine checks and deliver a customer-focused experience for employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor alarms CCTV and other systems; dispatch officers and/or notify appropriate responders based on site protocols.
• Receive calls and radio traffic prioritize requests for assistance and coordinate communications during incidents in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Complete security-related reports and logs including incident documentation dispatch activity and shift pass-down information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
