Job Summary

Job Goal: Somerville High is continuing a summer program for students to recover credit. The summer program will provide a positive and cooperative learning environment which will address student academic needs as well as their social emotional needs addressed in their IEPs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with middle and/or high school curriculum instruction and assessment practices
Massachusetts License in subject specific area
A strong ability to work with students of varying levels
Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students
Strong organizational and effective communication skills

Terms of Employment

Seasonal/Yearly Employment
Location: Various Locations
Rate: $35/hr per hour worked
Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: Week of June 13 2026

Program Schedule:

July 6 2026 July 31 2026
Monday through Friday 5 days a week
8:00am - 1:00pm

Reports to: District Director of Summer Programs and Director of the SHS SummerSchool Program
