As a Security Officer - Unarmed Area Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a tech-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office warehouse and/or campus areas including interior spaces loading areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and maintain access control by verifying identification issuing visitor directions managing sign-in processes and reporting suspicious behavior per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs including patrol findings incident documentation and shift activity updates and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
