Essential Responsibilities

• Support Aero alliance Repair engineer team during the inspection of the components inside the shop.
• Perform inspections in dirty condition of disassembled component and share detailed pictures of inspected material including Borescope inspections if needed.
• Verify that applied scope of work is aligned with the contractual one agreed during Kickoff meeting creation.
• Inspect and define the status of each part: Clean & inspect/ Ship to repair/ Scrap and communicate do G0 Team any deviation from original scope of work.
• Based on parts status define extra-works that are needed from a technical standpoint and share the information with the Repair engineer assigned for that job.
• Raise NSR on the dedicated platform.
• Support Engineering team in the realization of the Visual Inspection Report to be discussed with Customers in order to show the status of the engine after disassembly and agree on the final work scope.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Technical High School Diploma with 5 years of experience or equivalent experience. Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university would be a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Mechanics is required
• Ability to read technical information and manuals
• Intermediate knowledge of English
• Ability to synthesize complex technical information

Desired Characteristics

• Basic knowledge of Turbomachinery Mechanics would be a plus
• Previous knowledge/experience of Aero-derivative gas turbine products especially on LM2500 would be a plus
• Previous knowledge/experience of Aero-engines would be a plus
• Ability to interact with different levels of the organization: from shop operators to Engineering team to G1 leader
• Strong attention to details
