Essential Responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect procurement activities to support shop operations and business needs.

• Place and follow up on purchase orders ensuring timely execution and delivery.

• Ensure full compliance with procurement policies procedures and approval requirements.

• Manage supplier relationships for PO execution delivery scheduling issue resolution and ERP updates.

• Support negotiation with suppliers to achieve the best commercial and contractual conditions while meeting business requirements.

• Work with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with technical specifications budgets and project timelines.

• Support the setup and standardization of procurement processes for the new repair shop operation.

• Provide guidance to functional teams on procurement processes policies and procurement-related topics.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support smooth operational startup and new technology introduction.

• Build effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure continuity compliance and operational readiness.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP.

• Strong negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to lead initiatives and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functions.

• Fluency in English and Italian both written and spoken.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in aviation oil and gas or a comparable industrial repair environment.

• Familiarity with repair shop operations material transactions and logistics processes.

• Ability to work effectively in a setup or startup environment.

• Practical proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Energy ownership and willingness to drive change and improve processes.
