The University has commenced its Digital Learning Environment (DLE) Programme to improve the experience of digital learning and teaching for all students and staff. Join our highly collaborative user-centered and solution-oriented team to help ensure the programmes success.

Our aim is to support the Universitys success by refining its approach to managing projects on a large scale. We make sure we do the right projects and those projects are done right.

The Role/Te Mahi

Our programme consists of four key projects: the Learning Management System Student Portal Curriculum Management System and Learner Insights.

A new team of Instructional Designers is being formed to come alongside paper coordinators to support them in bringing their papers into the new Learning Management System (LMS).

Your Skills and Experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako

Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:
A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
A knack for building and maintaining positive collegial relationships within the University context.
The ability to work with colleagues and other staff in a culturally sensitive way.
Strong organisational digital and administrative skills.
Experience working to support staff or students within a tertiary teaching environment.

We have six full-time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term (approx. 12 month) positions to align with the duration of the Digital Learning Management Programme we will consider applications from candidates based in our campus locations of Dunedin Wellington and Christchurch.

You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions.

The appointments range for level 6 is $75631 to $80503 top of the range is $88750 per annum.
