Youllshape our privacy strategy influence how data is collected and handled and act as a trusted advisor on complex or highrisk matters across the partner closely with Cyber Data Governance Legal and senior stakeholders to solve complex privacy challenges in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Your day to day
Privacy Strategy & Governance:Develop and maintain HBFs enterprisewide privacy frameworks policiesstandardsand will lead privacy strategy and mature our governance approach ensuring alignment with APPs and best practice.
Advisory & Consultation:Provideexpert advice on new initiatives digital technologies and projects involving personal informationwhile partneringwith Cyber Legal Data Governance and Technology to deliver integrated safe data practices.
Compliance & Risk Management:Lead Privacy Impact Assessments coordinate responses to privacy incidents breaches accessrequestsand complaintswhile consistently reviewingprivacy controlsand supportinguplift initiatives.
Training & Awareness:Deliver privacy training and awareness programs to uplift capability and foster a strong privacy culture across HBFwhilemonitoringregulatory changes ensuringtimelyimplementation and compliance.
About You
Yourean experienced privacy professional with a strategic mindset and the credibility to influence senior stakeholdersturning complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical businessfriendly solutions.
You naturally build strong working relationships whetheryoureadvising senior leaders partnering with Cyber Risk Legal or Technology teams or navigating a sensitive highrisk privacy a strong understanding ofthe Privacy Act 1988andthe APPs andyourecomfortable translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical workable solutionsHBFcanuse.
With the ability to workindependentlyand as acollaborative partneryou enjoy solving problems at both strategic and operational levels andyoureconfident challenging thinkingwhen somethingisntquite right. Your analytical mindset strong writing skills and ability to influence make you someone others rely on when privacy risks or questions arise.
