We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to step into the role of Sealing Department Manager Southland based in Invercargill. This is a key leadership opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of our sealing operations and continue building a highperforming safetyfocused team.

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Surfacing Divisional Manager you will lead and manage the Southland Sealing Department with accountability for operational performance people leadership safety financial outcomes and customer relationships.

In this role you will:

Provide strong leadership across all surfacing activities including sealing and other associated works
Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with Fulton Hogan standards and legislative requirements
Lead develop and engage a diverse operational team building capability and succession
Manage financial performance budgets and forecasting for the department
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers suppliers and internal stakeholders
Oversee planning programming and delivery of works across a varied portfolio including resurfacing contracts carparks subdivisions driveways and technically complex projects

To be successful in this role you will:

Have demonstrated leadership experience within surfacing (sealing or asphalt paving) or a related civil infrastructure environment
Bring strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing contracts budgets and operational performance
Be an effective communicator and people leader who builds trust accountability and engagement
