The Role: Center Associate
As a Center Associate you are the face of The UPS Store. You will deliver world-class customer service by acting as a consultant for our customers shipping printing and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Consulting: Advise customers on shipping options (UPS USPS etc.) and business services to provide the best-value solution.
Print & Document Services: Operate high-end digital copiers binding equipment and laminating machines.
Logistics Management: Receive sort and process packages for courier shipment with high accuracy.
Retail Operations: Utilize point-of-sale (POS) devices and specialized software to process transactions.
Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace while assisting teammates in a fast-paced environment.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
The ideal candidate is a fast learner who thrives in a retail environment and enjoys helping people.
Education: High school diploma or GED (Required).
Technical Savvy: Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Acrobat).
Customer-Centric: Outstanding phone etiquette and verbal/written communication skills.
Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 40 pounds regularly.
Reliability: A professional appearance and a track record of being prompt and responsible.
Experience: Previous experience in retail sales shipping or print services is a major plus!
