Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer - Patrol in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an Aero and/or Defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site contacts and/or emergency services and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including communicating with site contacts and notifying appropriate responders per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization directing visitors to proper check-in areas and documenting entries and exits as required by site policy.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions using assigned systems and routine observation complete written reports and escalate maintenance hazard and/or policy concerns through the chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
