Retail Video Sales Consultant Edmonton

PRINCIPAL FOCUS:

Under the direction of store management a Vistek Video Sales Consultant is responsible for serving the needs of our customers meeting sales targets while providing a best in class customer service experience. Exposure to leading edge photo and video products and technology in providing complete solutions to meet our customers needs. Participate in store events ie. educational seminars product overviews and technical training.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provision of best in class service to customers
• Meet sales targets through sales and sales related activities
• Follow up with quotes orders and posted invoices
• Keep sales environment stocked clean and tidy
• Focus on various Vistek sales programs to enhance sales and customer value
• Keep personally up to date on products through the company intranet seminars web magazines discussions with colleagues membership in associations etc.
• Actively seeks methods to increase his/her client database.
• Create optimal opportunities through:
• Offering complete solutions including service plans to insure assets
• Quote Management
• Customer outreach &
• Keep environment organized clean and tidy
• Complete other duties projects and tasks as assigned.
• Provide support to Rentals Department when needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of a recognized post-secondary photographic video or related program or relevant experience
• Comfortable working knowledge of top brands
• 1 or more years working in a professional video environment
• Competent in Microsoft suite and Mac operating systems
• Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system
• Previous retail experience considered a definite asset
• Videography experience considered an asset
