Job Description
As a Security Officer - Checkpoint Monitor in Greensboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. You will remain highly visible help to monitor assigned areas complete routine rounds and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct entry screening activities such as verifying authorized access directing foot traffic and coordinating with clinical staff on visitor guidelines and/or restricted area access.
- Monitor screening points and surrounding areas for unusual activity and report concerns to site leadership and/or responding personnel to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications documenting observations and assisting with orderly movement of people as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter observing for hazards unsecured doors and policy issues and completing required logs and reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
