Senior Associate, Middle Office Hedge Fund Operations

**Please note: This role will be a dedicated resource for one of our premiere clients.  The candidate is required to be onsite 5 days a week at the clients Stamford Connecticut office**

What youll do

• Youll prepare daily reconciliations of positions and trades between client records and their prime brokers ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Youll collaborate with prime brokers to resolve trade breaks and maintain smooth operational workflows.
• Youll handle monthly reconciliations of tri-party positions cash market values and accruals while also preparing performance estimates for COO clients.
• Youll review monthly Administrator NAV packages update portfolio accounting systems when needed and maintain fund accrual schedules.
• Youll process corporate actions such as dividends splits and mergers for client portfolios while serving as a point of escalation for complex issues.

• The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($100000-$125000).

Qualifications :

• You must hold a bachelors degree in accounting finance economics or a related field with at least 4 years of financial services experience specifically in middle office work with alternative investment funds.
• You need strong expertise in financial instruments such as equities fixed income bank debt repos options swaps futures and FX spot/forward contracts along with advanced knowledge of margin processes and cash projections.
• You should demonstrate excellent attention to detail multitasking ability and strong communication skills for managing client relationships while being hard-working punctual and personable.
• You are expected to have a solid understanding of hedge funds and private equity strong accounting and analytical skills and advanced computer proficiency especially in Excel and portfolio accounting systems like Enfusion or Geneva.
• You will be required to work full-time in the office applying your dedication and technical expertise to support operational and client-facing responsibilities.
