Job Summary

Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for Coreus Restaurant to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the worlds most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa state-of-the-art fitness facilities and a collection of grand event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

What will I be doing

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional five star guest experience consistently upholding the world class service standards recognised by Forbes.

As the Restaurant General Manager for Café Boulud you will lead all restaurant and bar operations ensuring a worldclass dining experience grounded in luxury and Forbes FiveStar standards. You will inspire and develop a highperforming team safeguard exceptional service and uphold operational and financial excellence while delivering the following responsibilities to the highest level.

Manage all Café Boulud dining and bar operations.

Exceed guest expectations by providing world class personalised service and unique guest experiences.

Respond proactively to guest queries in a timely gracious manner.

Evaluate guest satisfaction and drive improvement initiatives.

Support the Head Sommelier and Bar Manager in curating exceptional wine and cocktail offerings leading beverage events and upholding the highest standards of beverage service.

Recruit manage mentor empower train and develop the restaurants Food and Beverage team fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and excellence.

Advance team capability through crosstraining and tailored development plans supported by annual and midyear reviews that drive engagement and growth.

Lead regular communication meetings and ensure all followup actions are fully documented and completed.

Support other departments when needed maintaining strong and collaborative hotel relationships.

Ensure compliance of brand standards and Forbes service standards.

Collaborate with senior members of the F&B team on menu development.

Ensure all allergies and dietary requirements are expertly accommodated without compromising the luxury dining experience.

Drive revenue by cultivating guest loyalty through refined worldclass culinary experiences

Define targets manage schedules and deliver accurate revenue forecasts to meet monthly F&B profit margins.

Work with F&B Cost Control to conduct regular audits improve inventory management and reduce wastage.

Work within budgeted guidelines related to food beverage payroll and overall cost controls.

Comply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

Maximise Key Performance Indicators including Guest Satisfaction Revenue Per Available Seat Hour average spend per guest labour turnover Environmental Social Governance and F&B cost of goods sold.

It would be advantageous in this role to demonstrate the following qualities and professional distinctions:

Diploma or degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field preferred.

A refined background in luxury hospitality with 35 years experience in a comparable leadership role within fivestar hotels upscale dining or private members clubs.
