To strengthen our team we are looking for a Patient Journey Lead TK2d Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive patient identification initiatives by partnering with healthcare stakeholders including neurologists geneticists nurses pharmacists and other specialists at Centers of Excellence (CoE).

  • Execute disease awareness and educational initiatives developed by global teams helping to improve understanding and recognition of TK2 deficiency across the healthcare ecosystem.

  • Support referral pathways by connecting healthcare organizations with specialized Centers of Excellence and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders involved in diagnosis and treatment.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders on screening initiatives and advocate for the inclusion of TK2d in neuromuscular genetic testing panels.

  • Engage with patient organizations to strengthen awareness education and community support initiatives for individuals living with TK2 deficiency.

  • Map and analyze patient journeys to identify key barriers unmet needs and opportunities to improve diagnosis treatment access and patient care.

  • Act as a local point of contact to support the implementation of approved access programs and help healthcare providers navigate the healthcare ecosystem to secure funding and treatment for individual patients.

  • Support the transition of patients from clinical trials or early access programs into standard treatment pathways ensuring continuity of care.

  • Promote the appropriate and safe use of therapy by ensuring healthcare professionals and payors understand the scientific background treatment value and patient management requirements.

  • Provide guidance to healthcare professionals so they can effectively educate patients and caregivers on treatment use and long-term management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Healthcare Business or a related field.

  • Strong experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with external engagement roles such as Medical Affairs Market Access or similar functions.

  • Experience collaborating with academic centers and hospital systems preferably within complex care environments.

  • Experience in Rare Diseases will be considered a plus.

  • High scientific acumen and strong project management skills.

  • Fluent English and local language required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70% with approximately 7080% field-based activities.
