Job Summary
Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church Eureka is seeking a joyful dedicated and faithfilled Kindergarten Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood learning and committed to nurturing the whole childacademically spiritually socially and emotionally. The ideal candidate creates a warm structured and engaging classroom environment where young learners feel supported and inspired to grow.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school curriculum and Catholic educational standards
- Foster a positive faithcentered classroom culture that encourages curiosity kindness and a love of learning
- Integrate Catholic values prayer and faith experiences into daily instruction and classroom life
- Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely constructive feedback to students and families
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians to support student growth and strengthen the schoolhome partnership
- Collaborate with colleagues support staff and administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs abilities and learning styles of young students
- Maintain accurate records lesson plans and documentation in accordance with school and Archdiocesan guidelines
- Participate in school events professional development and faithformation opportunities as part of the school community
- Uphold and model the mission values and expectations of Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Elementary Education or a related field
- Valid Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with early learners preferred
- Strong classroommanagement skills and a nurturing patient approach
- Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the faith formation of students
- Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills
