Job Summary

Our client One Network is looking for System Admin in Rawalpindi.

Job Description

Install configure and maintain servers storage systems operating systems and virtualization platforms.
Monitor system performance availability and security resolving issues proactively.
Hands-on experience of installation and configurations of servers chassis & storages.
Hands-on experience of installation and configurations of VMware Huawei & H3C virtualization platform.
Understanding & experience of FC SAN Switches.
Perform system updates patches and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
Manage data backup disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues.
Support virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware H3C OpenStack).
Complete understanding on storage devices and protocols (FC ISCSI NFS CIFs).

Skills:

Windows Server and Linux administration.
Enterprise servers and storage systems (Netapp Dell NetApp Huawei).
Virtualization platforms (VMware H3C OpenStack).
FC SAN Switches (Zoning).
Backup and recovery solutions (Veeam Veritas).
System monitoring patch management and troubleshooting.
Network fundamentals and firewall/VPN configuration.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g. VMware Certified Professional etc.)
35 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management (or as required by department level).
