PURCHASING STAF (ELECTRONICS/SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY)

- Salary: Up to 30 million VND

- Location: Bắc Ninh

I. Position Summary:

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials components equipment and services in compliance with the companys purchasing policies. The role ensures optimal cost quality and delivery performance while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and supporting internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for assigned commodities.
• Manage the RFQ process and negotiate pricing quality standards and service conditions.
• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base in alignment with global supplier management initiatives.

2. Cost Optimization

• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through negotiation alternative sourcing and value engineering.
• Contribute to achieving annual cost reduction targets for assigned commodities.

3. Procurement Operations

• Issue purchase orders based on internal purchasing requests while ensuring optimal purchasing conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of materials.

4. Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Engineering teams to support material requirements for new product development and material change programs.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory levels and lead times.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Work with Site SQE and Quality teams to investigate and resolve issues related to defective or non-conforming materials.
• Ensure suppliers comply with environmental standards and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements.

6. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain procurement records related to costs supplier performance delivery status and product quality in the procurement system.
• Monitor and support site KPIs related to cost reduction quality performance and delivery performance.

II. Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or College degree.
• Engineering background is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement preferably in: Electronics industry Semiconductor industry Automotive manufacturing
• Good understanding of purchasing processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with sourcing and supplier management practices.
• Strong negotiation and commercial mindset.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with ISO 9000 IATF and ISO 14001 standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good interpersonal skills when working with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
