Staff Quality Engineer

Location: Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam

Job Overview

• Were looking for a Staff Quality Engineer located in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam. Reporting to the quality director you will be managing EE components suppliers in China and SEA responsible for project quality process quality field issue and supplier site management.
• More specifically you will cover supplier and product auditing product and process quality planning & development CAPA supplier production management field data statistical analysis quality issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Play a vital role in PDP foresee and address product & process risk utilizing tools like FMEA CPK MSA. Conduct quality planning with outputs as SIP QCP etc
• Root causing issues using 5Why fish-borne chart and 8D throughout PDP and mass production
• Manage supplier ECN change
• Conduct supplier audit for new supplier selection and ongoing compliance
• Continuous improvement using PDCA/DMAIC methodology drive process improvement for higher yield/UPPH
• Production site management to support on-time shipment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering with strong EE background
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering of product and process esp. FATP of products involving both electronics and mechanics. Proficient in PPAP and above mentioned tools/methodology
• Strong quality data analytical capabilities with solid experience in Cloud database and SQL (nice to have)
• Proficient in EE product failure analysis and rootcausing
• Fluent oral English and influencing skills working with suppliers and global XFN teams. Ability and willingness to travel frequently in China and SEA
• Background of E-bike/automobile
• 6Sigma GB certification or above by ASQ or equivalent
• Knowledge of reliability e.g. Weibull analysis
