Position Overview:

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities for the company. This includes sourcing and procuring products negotiating with suppliers managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills excellent negotiation abilities and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet company objectives

- Source and procure products from various suppliers ensuring the best quality and cost

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing

- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to ensure adequate stock levels

- Collaborate with other departments to understand their product needs and ensure timely delivery

- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products that align with company goals

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain

- Analyze data and provide regular reports on purchasing activities costs and savings

- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management

- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

- Knowledge of beauty and wellness products is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proven track record of cost-saving initiatives and successful supplier relationships

- Detail-oriented and highly organized
