Summary
At Genesys weve built one of the best cloud-based Customer Experience (CX) service offerings ever. Genesys Cloud CX is a market-leading Customer Experience solution that unifies customer experiences across phone email chat web and social channels.
The External Contacts team tracks the customer context needed to power great customer experiences across all these channels. We perform identify resolution store customer profile data and provide import & export capabilities all while complying with relevant compliance laws.
We are looking for a self-motivated engineer to join our global team to help us enhance our services and take customer experience to the next level.
What you will do:
Design develop and maintain scalable highly-available backend services.
Plug these services into a larger event-based architecture & ecosystem.
Work with Product and UX teams to design & build features that serve customers.
Apply a testing-first approach to ensure reliability and scalability of our services.
Actively participate in team code reviews and enhance overall team velocity.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Continuously improve a running production system without downtime.
Become an expert in the architecture design and customer use cases for the teams services.
Be part of a fast-paced culture of continuous learning and grow rapidly.
Use various tools to troubleshoot issues with system stability and performance.
Foster an inclusive working environment where every team member is positioned for success.
What were looking for:
3 years of experience preferably including backend work.
Experience building software in at least one programming language.
Experience writing robust and performant services.
Experience with REST APIs.
Able to learn and pick up new technologies quickly.
Self-motivated and driven.
Effective communicator capable of articulating complex ideas with clarity and actively listening to understand others. Can communicate fluently in English.
Able to work with many teams across the org to get things done.
