Job Summary
The Role
The Reliability & Process Engineer leadshands-oncontinuous improvementprojectsandfacilitatesmaintenance strategies atthehigh-speedBeverageCan facility. You willbe analysing key performance data to optimiseequipment and asset reliability. The roleworks closely with the Engineering Lead oncapital projects andprovidestechnicalexpertiseto ensure site-wide safety quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse key process data to implement continuous improvement and reliability strategies.
- Develop maintenance continuous improvement plans and procedures
- Deliver capital projects and equipment installation ensuring timelines budget awareness and effective stakeholder communications.
- Provide technical advice and support to the plant regarding equipment materials and manufacturing processes.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis activities utilising methods such as fishbone diagrams 5Ys etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety quality and productivity.
- Ensure commitment to Safety Environmental and Quality systems while assisting in the development of autonomous work groups.
About You
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Possess relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG or process manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and reliability-centred strategies.
- Exhibit the ability to work autonomously while effectively managing complex issues and data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders from the shop floor to the management level.
- An organized proactive self-starter with the ability to lead and execute projects.
