About the Role
Ready to turn your studies into real-world impact Join our Sydney team as an Undergraduate Geotechnical Engineer and gain hands-on experience working on meaningful infrastructure and development projects while you complete your degree.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your engineering career from the ground up. As an Undergraduate Engineer youll contribute to project deliverables support experienced professionals and build practical skills across geotechnical engineering projects.
Working under close supervision youll undertake tasks of limited scope and complexity while developing into a well-rounded industry-ready professional.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of project outputs
- Support fieldwork data collection and basic analysis tasks
- Apply project management principles to complete assigned work on time and to standard
- Provide reliable and professional support to the broader team
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
- Currently completing a degree in Engineering (with a pathway to Professional Engineer accreditation)
- Exposure to a professional or engineering work environment (desirable)
- Sound understanding of science and engineering fundamentals
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to follow instructions and apply theoretical knowledge in practice
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
