Director for Post-Secondary Preparation

Position Overview
The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is seeking a Director for Post-Secondary Preparation to lead the development and implementation of system-wide programs that support the four Marion County archdiocesan high schools as they adopt Indianas new high school diploma requirements. This role is critical in ensuring students are prepared for postsecondary pathways including enrollment employment and enlistment.
The director will collaborate closely with high school administrators counselors teachers and the Assistant Director for Postsecondary Preparation to build aligned high-impact programming from elementary career exploration through high school career discernment. Additional responsibilities include expanding work-based learning opportunities developing community advisory committees and supporting the growth of career and technical education (CTE) pathways and college-level courses.
This position is partially funded by the Project Magi grant from the Lilly Endowment through 2030 with potential continuation beyond the grant period.
Essential Functions
implement manage and analyze system-wide Career Readiness Systems and processes that support Indianas new graduation requirements.
with the Assistant Director for Career Exploration to ensure vertically aligned career exploration and readiness from elementary through high school.
and sustain community advisory committees to support transitions to enrollment employment and enlistment.
high school career and technical education (CTE) progress and work-based learning (WBL) providing guidance to principals.
annual SAT proficiency progress analyze trends and coordinate support as needed.
with High School Post-Secondary Coordinators to manage the annual employer satisfaction survey.
K8 schools in implementing high schoollevel courses through logistics curriculum planning and execution guidance.
direct support to schools pursuing STEM certification assisting with preparation for the rigorous application process.
directly to an Assistant Superintendent at the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
other duties as necessary to support effective implementation of the Project Magi grant.

B. Education Training and Experience
degree or equivalent required.
to understand and comply with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Code of Conduct.
successfully complete the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Child Safety Training.
screening required.
drivers license required.
in a school setting strongly preferred
