As a Security Officer - Campus Foot Patrol in Albuquerque NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control respond to calls for assistance document observations and provide customer-focused communication for employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and protocols at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flows checking identification and/or credentials as required and directing individuals to appropriate check-in and screening processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner initiating notifications documenting details and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs communicate key observations during shift turnovers and use security-related systems such as radios phones and electronic reporting tools as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
