Student Worker Water and Soil Lab Technician

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The primary objective is to support teaching and research at the Water/Soil Lab under Dr. Barbosa supervision.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the water and soil laboratory to support teaching and research activities
- Prepare laboratory materials reagents and equipment for class experiments
- Clean label and store glassware sampling containers and laboratory supplies
- Support students and help ensure materials are ready for class activities
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and notify the supervisor when materials need to be restocked
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and help maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications/Skills:
- Environmental Sciences Environmental Studies or Geography major (preferred) or any major
- Basic understanding of water and soil concepts and laboratory organization
Requirements:
- ENVS 111 completed
