Job Summary

Position Summary:

The Floor Manager is responsible for supervising the dailyoperations of the service floor to ensure exceptional guest experience. Theylead the front-of-house team maintain high service standards coordinatecommunication between departments and ensure the floor is clean organizedand fully operational. The Floor Manager acts as a key leader on the floorsetting the tone for service quality efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support front-of-house staff during service hours.
  • Oversee floor operations to ensure seamless and efficient guest experience.
  • Monitor staff performance provide coaching and assist with on-the-job training.
  • Manage floor setup cleanliness organization and readiness for service.
  • Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address complaints professionally.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service flow.
  • Lead daily briefings to communicate specials promotions and important updates.
  • Handle seating arrangements table assignments and reservation flow.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards always.
  • Assist in the management of floor supplies and report any maintenance needs.
  • Encourage upselling and suggestive selling among staff to maximize revenue.
  • Manage conflict resolutions among staff or customers when necessary.
  • Provide reports on floor performance guest feedback and operational challenges to senior management.
