Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant at Au Natural Organics will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced eco-conscious work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Administrative Support:
- Manage and organize office documents both physical and digital.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings appointments and events.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and reorder when necessary.
- Answer phone calls respond to emails and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service through phone email and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers with product information orders returns and exchanges.
- Process orders and ensure timely shipping of products.
- Inventory Management:
- Track and manage inventory levels of organic care products.
- Update and maintain product listings on e-commerce platforms (if applicable).
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of stock.
- Data Entry & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales inventory and office expenses.
- Assist with preparing reports for management on product performance inventory status and customer feedback.
- Office Coordination:
- Ensure the office runs smoothly by assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Organize and file important business documents contracts and invoices.
- Support eco-friendly initiatives and sustainability practices within the office.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Assist in creating and distributing internal communications and newsletters.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns.
- Liaise with clients vendors and partners as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in administrative roles preferably in a retail or eco-friendly environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and a passion for sustainable organic products is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
