Job Summary
Java Responsibilities:
-Upgrade configure and debug existing systems written in Java 6/8.
-Work with a distributed team to handle project requirements.
-Knowledge of Linux / Kubernetes environment.
-Write clean and scalable code using Java 21 Spring & Spring Boot
-Ensure maintenance on the server by monitoring updating applying security patches and other activities needed.
-Experience with JPA/Hibernate for persistence layer development.
DevOps Responsibilities:
-Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell / Bash /Python
-Good working knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes
-Experience with server monitoring system like Prometheus and Nagios
-Proficient with GIT & GIT workflows
-Excellent working knowledge of CI/CD implementation such as Circle CI Bamboo or Jenkins
-Working knowledge of Wild Fly (JBoss) application server and Spring Boot
-Backend experience in Oracle Database design SQL functions stored procedures and packages
-Experience with monitoring logging and observability tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK Stack.
-Nice to have working knowledge of cloud environments.
Qualifications:
-BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering MIS or equivalent with programming experience.
-Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in a Java and DevOps engineer role.
-Good troubleshooting skills
