TAX MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER / DIRECTOR

Compensation: $90000 $160000 per annum (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director to join a growing public accounting team. This role is ideal for a tax
professional with strong public accounting experience who enjoys working with small business clients managing complex tax engagements leading teams
and building long-term client relationships.
You will balance hands-on tax work review responsibilities staff coaching and client management while helping drive workflow and projects across the firm.
Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & AdvisoryPrepare and review corporate partnership and individual tax returns ().
Support multi-state tax filings and planning.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to small and owner-managed businesses.
Handle complex tax engagements and resolve technical tax issues.
Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of small business clients.
Lead client meetings and ongoing communications.
Clearly communicate timelines deliverables and expectations.
Act as a trusted advisor by providing practical value-driven guidance.
Mentor and coach junior and intermediate staff.
Review work for accuracy completeness and quality.
Delegate tasks manage workloads and ensure deadlines are met.
Foster a collaborative accountable and service-oriented team environment.
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously especially during peak tax season.
Coordinate priorities deadlines and resources effectively.
Ensure timely completion of work in line with firm standards.
Utilize tax and accounting software such as QuickBooks UltraTax Canopy or similar tools.
Maintain accurate documentation and client records.
Strong experience in public accounting particularly with small business clients.
Expertise inand 1040 tax returns.
Ability to handle complex tax work and perform detailed reviews.
Proven experience managing client relationships and leading teams.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10 years of progressive public accounting experience (for senior-level roles).
Experience working with small businesses under US GAAP.
Experience leading client meetings and providing advisory support.
CPA designation preferred (or equivalent experience considered).
Additional tax certifications or coursework are a plus.
